Description:

Compensation & Benefits AssistantResponsibilities include assisting with work permit applications and enquiries, overseas contracts, the processing ofshort visit overseas claims, and maintaining the various benefits systems. In addition you will be required to analysedetailed data and conduct desk and telephone research.You will also be required to answer general compensation & benefits queries, update the HR System with internationaldata, and maintain the compensation & benefits filing and record keeping systems.You will need to be educated to at least A Level standard, and ideally have HR and/or compensation and benefitsexperience. Some payroll experience would be useful but it is more essential to have good Microsoft Excel skills withknowledge of other Microsoft packages e.g. PowerPoint and Word. Working within a busy team, you will need to be wellorganised with the ability to multi-task. You will have an excellent telephone manner, be able to deal with senior staffwithout being intimidated, able to work on your own initiative, as well as having a good sense of humour.Pay and Reward ConsultantThe ideal candidate will be a business expert and have a minimum of 10 years experience in pay and reward, design anddevelopment of reward strategies, ability to persuade and influence senior management and plan and organise projects.The role involves developing, designing and direct implementation of new strategies that provide competitive level of paymotivation and reward to employees.Duties involve: Leading the evaluation of current pay and reward programs and recommended future pay and reward strategies andsolutions. This will involve design, development and implementation in consultation with the remuneration committee andsenior management to ensure that the new reward strategy fits with the aims and objectives of the company. Lead and work in partnership with senior management and evaluate the effectiveness of current pay and reward policies.Recommend new policies and innovative solutions in line with business practices, ensuring that risks and potentialexposure are minimised. Monitor and analyse competitive trends in compensation and identify the companys position compared to otherorganisations and recommend any appropriate change to policies as well as develop payment plans.Our client offers an exceptional salary and benefits package, as well as superb long-term prospects.
