It will suit an ambitious individual who is prepared to be hands on tobuild and develop successful foundations of basic HR products, but at the same time can deliver a strategic service todemanding managers, and contribute actively to a team agenda.In terms of the right fit the company seek a Graduate, with CIPD membership and at least 7 years' UK HR experience, 5years of which will be in a management position. In addition to this a comprehensive HR skillset including experience ofoperating as business partner as part of management team, track record of bedding in basic processes andmentoring/coaching junior staff. Familiarity with change management initiatives, TUPE/due diligence and outsourcing,excellent relationship building and networking skills, pragmatic, able to successfully influence and challenge at seniorlevels and able to travel (approx 30%) throughout the UK.Responsibilities include: Providing a comprehensive high quality generalist support service. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with the management team and actively contributing to the developmentof the business . Leading and driving a range of strategic HR initiatives through the business including (among others) successionplanning, talent recognition, career development planning etc Leading a team of HR professionals and support staff based throughout the country. Actively contributing to an extensive programme of internal HR process improvement and development, supporting therapid bedding in of a range of initiatives Supporting and facilitating a comprehensive change programme within HR to reposition the team to a more client facing,business solution orientated function Participating in and/or leading one of the HR excellence teams to strengthen expertise in chosen areas and design anddeliver projects and initiatives within that area of expertise Actively participating in the H& T HR management meeting.The rewards in return are superb and this role offers fantastic long-term prospects. |
