The purpose of the role is to develop and maintain management information reporting capability, ensuring all relevantdata sources including CHRIS, MAGIC, ACD and ASK HR. The role also involves providing a strategic reporting service,analysing data and highlighting trends as required.Further duties also include: Creating a comprehensive, flexible, secure and cost effective process and tool to produce regular, standard quarterlymanagement information reports, exploiting the opportunities presented by technology to ensure the process is asautomated as possible. Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to interpret MI requirements through challenging and clarifyingunderstanding. Provide alternatives, identifying issues and opportunities and then design and develop the managementinformation solution for Managers to assist in making decisions to improve the performance of the people in managing thebusiness. Provide technical expertise to train and coach users in MI systems to manipulate reports and give understanding to HRissues ensuring that a high quality of information is given to customers. Clarify customer requirements for ad hoc management information reports, guiding and influencing to ensure the mostappropriate solution is achieved and delivering solutions efficiently. Ensure full compliance with data protection andthat the requester has a legitimate need for the information being requested. Constantly check the validity of data through various monitoring processes, liase with the processing teams tohighlight process weaknesses. Actively participate in the activities of the team to ensure an awareness of current priorities and to identify up andcoming MI requirements and plan activities accordingly.You will have a degree in IT or a maths related subject be IS literate have knowledge of HR data and MI systems and befamiliar with call centre systems, databases and reporting tools. Additionally you should have experience of developingand maintaining management information, SQL, Crystal, VBA, macros and database skills as well as project management.In return our client offers excellent salary and superb benefits. |
