A leading IT Services organisation is looking for an experienced HR Generalist who is interested in developing their portfolio. Working within a small specialist team, you will have responsibility for development and implementation of key policies to ensure that the organisations HR policy continues to be both progressive and pragmatic. Key policy and project areas will include:Absence Management StrategyEmployee Relations (Disciplinary/Grievance etc)Performance ManagementExit Policy and ProgrammesRecruitment and Induction PoliciesThis is a role which will enable you to build your toolkit and enhance your depth of experience. In particular TUPE transfer experience, third party supplier management and exposure to Exit Policy and Programmes would be desirable. The role is based in Reading however it has country-wide responsibility so there will be an element of ad hoc travel. This is a proactive role as the HR Department is seen as a leading force for change and best practice within the organisation and as such the successful individual must be able to cope with regular change and challenges.With good communication skills, particularly written, you will have the ability to benchmark as well as model calculations (Excel). Confident and with the necessary gravitas to engage successfully with senior management you will have a strong interest in your field, keeping abreast of legislation and ensuring that best practice is followed.
