ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities1 Support the wider implementation of Organisation Development strategy within the company through the development ofpolicy and best practice, specifically in multi-skilling, employee involvement and reward/incentivisation2 Support a consistent approach to the management of people by establishing guidelines and minimum standards3 Provision of guidance and support on the handling of change initiatives4 Provision of guidance and practical expertise on employment law issues5 Encouraging networking and effective communications amongst HR colleagues working within the company6 Supporting union consultation meetings and provision of specific and strategic advice as required8 Assisting in the training needs analysis process as required in the EO9To actively encourage and support a team working environment and build effective working relationships with all partiesincluding EO colleagues, RSP HR Managers/Training Managers or Advisors and stakeholder HR functions10 To co-ordinate the achievement of Investors in People across the company11 The generation/approval of general correspondence as required, relating to applications, offers, transfers, warnings,dismissals, promotions and general routine written communicationsSecondary Responsibilities1 Support the Business Assurance Team in ensuring compliance, review, audit and support to both processes and policy2 Provision of HR support on bid activity including due diligence information for transferring staff, determination ofemployment terms and costs, facilitating the transfer of employees to the contract, and advising on and supportingcontractual change where appropriate3 Provision of guidance, advice and direct support, where required, on issues of performance management, includingappraisal, objective setting, discipline, dismissals and tribunal claims, within the EO4 Supporting the training plan through the provision of coaching, seminars and the identification of internal andexternal providers of training as required, within the EO5 Supporting and monitoring of formal and informal performance review, and the analysis of outputs6 Monitoring HR activity against key metrics including starters, leavers, vacancies, financial budgets etc and theprovision of data monthly contributing towards the company management reporting7 Leadership of the Organisation Development strategyAccountabilitiesStaffNoneFinanceTraining budgetPerson SpecificationAttributes RequiredEssential DesirableEducation CIPD qualified Good standard of general education DegreeTraining Interview skills Psychometric testing level A BPS or equiv.
