The type of projects will be diverse and range from feasibility through to implementation.Recent and current projects include; Upgrade to the Dartford River Crossing toll system whilst allowing continuous operations Specification and design of a Driver Information System for the strategic Motorway and trunk road network on behalf ofthe Highways Agency Specification, design and Project Management of detection and image capture systems on behalf of Transport for Londonfor the Congestion Charging Scheme.The Telematics team is a professional unit priding themselves on providing clients with innovative solutions to problems.Being a relatively small team within the company they thrive on the close working relationships with each other andregularly share experience in order to deliver projects that meet and exceed clients expectations.Person SpecificationQualifications Desirables BSc or equivalent, CEng or application submitted MIEEExperience Essentials Direct experience (3-8 years) in design or specification of highway traffic control and communication systems.Desirables Experience of radio and or SCADA-based systems, Previous working experience with Highways Agency working practices. Previous experience in a customer facing environment. Experienced at working to strict time scales in which to deliver projects.Hard / Soft Skills Essentials Must be capable of translating customer requirements into system specifications and other documents.
