JOB DESCRIPTION FOR HELPDESK CONSULTANTHelpdesk Consultants are responsible for supporting our clients in their use of the Property Management software.Support is done over the phone, via email, via dial up connections and occasionally on the Clients site.Consultants are responsible for logging calls on the Track-It call logging system. The calls will come in by email orphone.Consultants are responsible for investigating issues that have been assigned to them to determine what the problem is.If, after testing the issue in-house it is found to have been caused by a bug in the software, the consultant will log abug on the company system and pass it to development to be programmed. If the issue has caused corruptions in theClients data, the Consultant will dial in to the Clients site and fix the data. ALL TRAINING GIVENConsultants are responsible for answering Clients queries regarding the use of the software.Consultants are when required responsible for upgrading Clients to later releases of the the software.Full on the job training is given but it is essential that applicants have a confident telephone manner, a veryanalytical mind, ability to work accurately under pressure both in a team and on their own initiative. Accountingknowledge would be useful but is not essential. They must be fully computer literate. Candidates must also have aninterest in working in a face to face environment.The salary offered for this role will be between GBP 17-18k pa depending on skills and experience.
