This successful and expanding energy management company is seeking an Engineer to join a small team based at the HeatStation. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be required to:" Carry our repairs, plant maintenance and minor installation works, heating boilers, gas engines and hot water systems." Ensure paperwork is up to date and correctly completed." Ensure jobs are closed down promptly to allow for timely invoicing." Provide reports to, and work closely with Operations Manager and the rest of the team." Develop a knowledge of appropriate health and safety measures and follow Company Health and Safety procedures at alltime.This position is vacant immediately. The successful candidate will be mobile but will work out of the Heat Station.The candidate will have previous experience in this field and the relevant industry qualifications. A good understandingof operations and maintenance, systems/boiler plant on a commercial level is required.Our client has indicated that this position could suit ex Royal Navy or Merchant Navy personnel. Candidates must haveexperience of and familiarity with gas engines, heating boilers and systems; an understanding of CHP systems anadvantage; an appropriate qualification in mechanical engineering (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent); electrical knowledgewould be an advantage; demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise.Salary: GBP 20-22,000 depending on qualifications, experience and fit with job specificationLocation: Based in Southampton4 weeks holidayCompany VanCompany contribution to pension scheme after one yearCompany-funded Life InsuranceMobile PhoneUniform
