RoleWe are seeking an experienced Healthcare Consultant capable of providing a high level professional advice and support towork on our National Care Standards Commission (NCSC), which provides professional advice in the respects of suitabilityof premises and facilities operated by the Private and Voluntary Healthcare establishments. All work is based on the CareStandards Act 2000 and the National Minimum Standards and Regulations for independent Healthcare 2002The Consultant employed by our client will need to advise the NCSC on whether proposals will meet required standards. Theresponsibility is to be by way of:1.review of plans and technical specifications2.Inspection of completed premises and those in construction3.review of technical data and policies and procedures for operation and maintenance of the establishmentKey CompetenciesSkillsCandidates will have a strong working knowledge of the operational and management aspects of hospitals/healthcarepremises including all associates legislation. Experience as an engineer, surveyor or architect is a must, but it isnecessary to have recent UK knowledge of Healthcare StandardsQualifications:Degree in related disciplineExperience:Minimum of 5 years direct experience.
