Role We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Consultant capable of providing a high level professional advice and support to work on our National Care Standards Commission (NCSC), which provides professional advice in the respects of suitability of premises and facilities operated by the Private and Voluntary Healthcare establishments. All work is based on the Care Standards Act 2000 and the National Minimum Standards and Regulations for independent Healthcare 2002The Consultant employed by our client will need to advise the NCSC on whether proposals will meet required standards. The responsibility is to be by way of:review of plans and technical specifications Inspection of completed premises and those in construction review of technical data and policies and procedures for operation and maintenance of the establishment Key CompetenciesSkillsCandidates will have a strong working knowledge of the operational and management aspects of hospitals/healthcare premises including all associates legislation. Experience as an engineer, surveyor or architect is a must, but it is necessary to have recent UK knowledge of Healthcare Standards Qualifications: Degree in related discipline Experience: Minimum of 5 years direct experience.
