Description:

Opportunity for experienced Health and Safety Manager to join leading dynamic international company. Role: Responsible for managing the health & safety function for large Distribution / Fulfillment Centre. Also responsible for identifying, coordinating and improving safety, quality and productivity. You will be a senior member of the site Operations management team. Other areas of responsibility include: Ensure compliance to UK and European legislation Develop and implement training programs to meet the needs of staff in regards to critical safety issues Develop and maintain ergonomics programs where required Analyse accident data and build prevention programs Support operations management with investigations as they relate to Safety and dishonesty related inquiries Develop/ implement short and long term health & safety programs Ensure accurate health & safety metrics are maintained Experience/Skills: 5+ years in a Heath & Safety role within an international fast paced operations environment Experience with Health & Safety legislation, and governing bodies Experience of managing multiple sites Certified in Safety IOSH / NEBOSH Excellent decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication and influencing skills Candidates will be degree or preferably higher degree qualified in a Health & Safety based discipline. Excellent salary package offered. Salary negotiable depending on experience.
