World leader in Wireless technology requires a Senior Software Development Manager, GBP 80-100k + package, Buckinghamshire. With a technology environment including C/C++, Embedded/Real-time, GSM/GPRS/UMTS, WiFi, protocols (Layers 1-2) and Webservices, this World leading company in the evolution of WiFi technology solutions requires a high calibre, experienced Software Development Manager from a strong software background. With Wireless knowledge (GSM/UMTS/WiFi), 5 years Management and 10 years Software experience, you will join this world leader in the Wireless arena taking responsibility for managing a team of experienced and knowledgeable Software Engineers (Up to 10) and integrating software to enhance this companys product offerings to the market. You will be responsible for design, management and control of software development for wireless infrastructures. We require Managers with 4-5 years experience, 8-10 years software development experience, protocol experience at layer 1 and layer 2, a mix of Wireless, bluetooth, and/or GSM/UMTS experience, and software skills in C/C++, Java (Webservices), .NET and Windows/Unix environments.
