We are looking to appoint a 'Heavyweight' Product Marketing Manager who is: - The FASTEST - Respond quick to Customer Needs within the Market The Most AGILE - Can respond to Changes within the market that are addressed The SMARTEST - Can define clear technical statements and understanding of Market requirements, scope of work, as wellas being able to support the business case, defining it and subsequently managing it throughout the product lifecycle The STRONGEST - Use your Product Marketing 'Muscle', your Management Power 'Combination' to severely beat your marketcompetitors in their own ring.We aren't looking for a one-dimensional fighter with nothing in their locker but their IT Demystified books and a copy of'Product Marketing Weekly'! We want the Technical Tyson's who are undefeated in being 'The Greatest' at the following: - Market Assessment - Knowing your market and identifying/recommending future product requirements to the business tomaximise growth. Presenting to the board your concepts and feasibility using you in-depth technical know-how. Product Marketing Plan Production - Address the size/shape of market you attend to address. Who are your threats?Market Pricing? Outlining the description of the product. Uniqueness. OEM Make/Buy recommendations. Any IPR Issues etc. Market Requirement Specification Production - Detailed specifications outlining functionality, scalability and keyproduct issues. Equivalent to RFI that your design team will respond with. Creation of the Business Case - Financial Justification? Return it will give? When? Revenue Projections? Developmentteam cost targets and timescales agreed upon. Securing sign off from the business. Design Review Liaison - Carrying out design reviews as the internal customer. All design compliance requirements areaddressed. Ultimate business sign off (ensuring product does meet the market need). Product Launch Plan Production - This will define the sales strategy for the product. Target customers? Any otherproduct dependencies? Release details. Sales collateral requirements. Manage any customer trials if appropriate also. Product Withdrawal Review - Ensure that only consistent messages are given to customers in the event of a productreaching the end of it's' lifecycle (obsolescence). Timing content and nature of customer communication.
