This is a fabulous opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant from either Practice or industry to join one of the Big 5 Accountancy Practices in a lead advisory capacity. Based in their Thames Valley office, this role will provide support to a Senior Manager in providing hands-on strategic and commercial advice to businesses on a range of issues. If you are a proactive worker with a positive outlook and have up to date technical ability in accounting then this could be the perfect role for you!Within this role you will take a hands-on, focussed approach, aiming to build long term relationships with clients in order to deliver value from start up to exit. Day to day responsibilities include, providing board level input to all aspects of the business; strategy, people, products and markets, infrastructure and operations finance and funding, regular financial adviser duties where you will focus mainly on review of and input to financial and funding issues, business planning and financial modelling and funding solutions. This is also a supporting role where you will very much be involved with assisting the junior members of the team whilst planning and controlling assignments and contributing to the commercial side of the business. ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified, advisory, excellent communication skillsYou should be recently qualified and have an ability to see the broad picture with a strategic vision rather than specialist focus. Any prior Corporate Finance or investigations experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Personality-wise you should be engaging and charismatic with strong business development skills and a credible approach to giving commercial advice.
