Its our 60,000 strong worldwide workforce that drives this success, and we strive to ensure that each and every one reaches their full potential.We are currently looking to recruit a Technical Release Manager to work alongside the systems design, software and hardware development and integration and acceptance teams. You will be responsible for building software environments and the technical release and configuration management of the components. You will Defining the configuration and data management needs for organisation. Key Responsibilities will be; 1) Producing and establishing a set of procedures for configuration and data management 2) Establishing and maintaining all group level assets (strategies, plans, processes etc) 3) Owning the design, build and administration of the system environments required for internal system integration and deployment testing for all components in the product suite 4) Owning the technical documentation relating to installations and hardware/platform specifications 5) Ensuring that build functionality complies to the build plan 6)Technical management of product rollouts . 7) Providing advice on technical matters relating to hardware requirements and other technical aspects in respect of the deployments of product components 8)Establishing metrics at group level to manage the effectiveness of the groups CM activities Managing inter-project / product issues This role is a Senior Management post, and as such you will be well qualified, with strong experience at a management level within the defence or aerospace industry. You will previously have occupied a "hands-on" role of software, documentation and/or hardware configuration/data management.
