Our client is a leading supplier of imported feed ingredients and grain in the UK and Ireland and is part of amultinational group trading over 12 million tonnes annually in Europe.They are seeking an ambitious graduate to join their successful Glasgow trading team. The role will involve shadowing thesenior Traders in their duties, conducting market research and competitor analysis, customer and supplier liaison,logistics and stock management.The following attributes are required for this position; Strong commercial acumen along with some previous commercial experience gained within a customer focused or sales role A 2.1 or above degree classification ideally within a business or agricultural discipline Previous experience of, or an interest in, the agricultural sector Numeracy together with good logistical and analytical skills High levels of initiative and drive The ability to develop good working relationships with customers and suppliers A team player Excellent communication skills Resides within commutable distance of GlasgowIn return, you will join an exciting and dynamic company with the opportunity to influence the future strategy anddirection of the company.Salary is commensurate with experience.
