This award winning energy management company is currently seeking a motivated Energy or Mechanical Engineering graduatewith sound knowledge of building services and/or renewable energy, a flexible approach, and the ability to work on arange of projects at different levels of detail in an organised and thorough manner.This is an exciting and varied role, working within a small team of project development and design engineers in the fieldof sustainable energy in buildings. Typical projects include community/district heating & cooling, combined heat & powerand biomass energy for both internal and external clients. There will be an opportunity for the right candidate to becomeinvolved in all aspects of project work from desk-top to site based workPrimary responsibilities will include:- site surveys, financial appraisal, project design, preparing CAD drawings, reportwriting, obtaining quotations for materials and plant, preparation of tender documents, contractor supervision and othergeneral duties as required.Candidates must be qualified to degree level in Energy or Mechanical Engineering and have good knowledge of theprinciples of renewable energy, power generation, heat transfer, CHP etc. Specific knowledge of energy related buildingservices i.e. heating, cooling and electricity would also be an advantage. Candidates must possess excellent Englishlanguage skills (both written and oral), excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present well in client facingsituations. Good Excel skills and experience of using AutoCAD are essential. Full clean UK driving licence is required.Salary: GBP 17,000 - GBP 20,000 (depending on experience) + company car, mobile phone & other benefits
