Theirrole is to work with Production Engineering teams to define briefs based on customer needs and then deliver it.Engineering support is also provided to Manufacturing and quality functions.Six Design Component Groups are made up of experts in each of their fields. This expertise covers everything from enduser custom and practice, through the Design Process and all the way back to the supplier development.Validation is responsible for working with the design teams to define the most effective validation programme and thenexecuting them.Design Services are responsible for maintaining the Quality and Productivity of in-house and contract design activity.They also provide the end users with application support such as General Arrangements Drawings and InstallationArrangements.Materials Engineering is a pro-active group that concentrates on early engagement in the Design Process, selecting thebest available materials and processes for their designers to work with. |
