This leading automotive technology consultancy has an urgently requirement for a Global Commercial Manager within thecompany's software development division. Reporting to the Director of this division, it is expected that the successfulcandidate would carry out the following:" Developing selling strategy for all products across the world" Managing the sales team in order to deliver the strategy" Manage the global marketing budget" Developing and maintaining worldwide customer relationships with key accounts" Coordinating selling and marketing activities across products and territories" Coordinating technical support activities with the product managers" Managing the business system software" Managing administrative activities (finances, licensing etc.)" Contributing to senior management reportingThe technical sales team will report to the Global Commercial Manager who will work with them to deliver the above fortheir individual products. As part of this process, the successful candidate will also be responsible for the company's3D automotive CFD package that has been developed specifically to address fluid flow simulations in the vehicle andengine industries with customers throughout the world.The successful candidate will be very experienced in the field of technical software sales and marketing with a proventrack record. Experience of CFD applications within the automotive sector is also required. Our client is looking for anoutgoing, friendly addition to the team with excellent inter-personal skills and motivated by success. You will also beexpected to be capable of balancing the commercial and technical needs of the product range together with:" A good understanding of internal combustion engines and associated systems." Specialist knowledge of the automotive business." Specialist knowledge in the field of technical software sales and marketing." Experience in formulating policy and strategy and a sound understanding of business principles and practices includingfinance and marketing." Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communications skills including public speaking." Project management skills including the technical and financial management of a number of multi-functional projectgroups." Effective man-management skills.Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000 + bens
