They are a fast growing and progressive organisation operating within all of the mainstream engineering disciplines and have offices located strategically throughout the UK and Overseas.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contaminated Land - Geo Environmental Engineer to join the company in their Cumbria office. The ideal candidate will be educated degree level within a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline with MSc being an advantage. You should have at least 2 years experience in environmental consultancy in the UK or equivalent experience in the public or private sector. An ability to supervise geo-environmental site investigations, schedule soil & groundwater samples for analysis and interpret the results using current environmental guidelines. Experience in the on-site supervision of remediation, understanding of risk assessment packages and previous experience working within project teams will also be required. A full UK driving license is necessary as the role will involve some travel. The successful candidate will be rewarded by the client with a very attractive benefits and salary package.
