The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects from contaminated land assessment to remediationsupervision and expert witness support. The positions will require consultation with clients, liaison with statutorybodies and commercial control of projects. With 1 - 4 years experience, applicants should have a relevant first degree inengineering geology, geotechnics, environmental engineering or land remediation and preferably should hold a relevantMasters degree.However, above all, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of contaminated landinvestigation, risk assessment and remediation within the current UK regulatory environment and have good ability tocommunicate this knowledge to clients and regulators both verbally and in writing.Some knowledge of relevant software packages such as ConSim, Risc4, Aquifer 32 and Surfer would be advantageous althoughnot absolutely necessary as full support and training will be given.W5 Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy that was established to provide recruitment expertise within theenvironmental sector.
