Our client is author of a complete range of business and finance software with around 700 customers using their software solutions. They are seeking a General Manager (Sales). You must have current / recent experience of high value capital sales of accounting software sales to be considered for this position. You should have experience of successfully managing a sales team and a track record of increasing revenue and profitability. You should have a good working knowledge of accounts software and business processes. It is desirable that you have run or managed marketing campaigns, generating sales leads. It is desirable that you have run your own business, been an MD or Sales Director. There is substantial opportunity to accelerate growth by upgrading customers to higher end products and by providing consultancy and development services. The General Manager (Sales) is a very senior position. You will be expected to directly manage the expanding sales team. This involves training, mentoring and leading by example as well as recruiting and training further sales people as the user base grows. Our client is seeking someone who has the vision, passion and flair to double the divisional turnover within three years. Package is GBP 35 - GBP 50K basic / GBP 50K - GBP 80K OTE + car / car allowance + laptop + mobile
