Turnover GBP 8m pa, total headcount of 70staff.This post requires a manager with entrepreneurial/sales skills as it is running a successful business and managing P&L.PositionWe are currently looking for a General Manager to manage our Service North operation that has a turnover in excess of GBP 8million per annum and 70 staff.Your remit will be to manage the North/Scottish portfolio to achieve financial and operational objectives whilstcontinuing to develop and grow the business.Essential skills and experienceIn order to take the North/Scottish operation to future growth, you will be a sales-driven individual, with strongentrepreneurial skills.You must also be a successful motivator and leader of people, as you will be managing a cross-functional team of 70 -managers, internal staff as well as a large team of field service/installation engineers.The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing a profit centre - preferably in a service-relatedindustry. Although candidates from other industries will also be considered i.e. facilities management, FMCG. Computerliteracy in Word & Excel is essential. Experience of a field service management system would be an advantage.Salary: cGBP 40k + car + pension + medical & life cover
