Description:

We are currently seeking a General Foreman for a new build and refurbishment project in central London. Conversion of a 9storey former office into a hotel and student accommodation. The building is Grade II listed with substantial areas to beretained. These will remain protected during the construction phase and may need to be refurbished. Project value: GBP 30million. Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include: To ensure that all aspects of the project are managed and built toprogramme, safety and cost targets. Responsible for all services to and interfaces with customer at site level,Responsible for site planning for the project, eg managing trade contractors, processes, schedules, costs, resource needsand reporting. Ensure quality and safety of all site activities is appropriately managed. Maintain detailed and accuratesite diaries/records. Schedule site activities including all deliveries and visits. Review and approve sub-contractorsmethod statements and safety plans. Ensure co-ordination between the site construction team and the sub-contractorsteams. Maintain team spirit and moral.
