Description:

Our client based in Warrington requires a Furnace Operative for their operation on a temporary basis GBP 7.50 Per Hour +bonus and 36% Shift allowance after training.Your main objectives are:To anneal wire for subsequent drawing or shaping, using Ipsen vacuum batch furnaces.Main Tasks:1). Loading stands into furnace vessel using E.O.T.C.2). Setting correct cycle.3). Monitoring performance of furnace.4). Unloading stand from vessel.5). Unloading wire from stand, store and identify.6). Coat any material for shaping in rust preventative.7). Strapping and boxing any round wire for external sale.8). Record production from Furnace and Hot Drawing machine for tractability i.e. output purposes.9). Contact maintenance of contractors for crane or electrical repairs.10). Fault reporting from Hot Drawing and Batch Furnaces.11). Maintaining pump oil levels and water filters associated with Furnaces.12). Assisting with wire cleaning and drawing in Hot area.13). Maintaining water levels for Induction Heaters.14).
