Key accountabilities will be to: Timely completion of electronic forms for new lines, eliminations, price changes, brand extension and volume estimatesfor central distribution. Weekly monitoring of the Slow Moving Stock Report, liaising with buyers, suppliers, central distributor and operationalcolleagues to keep stock levels to a minimum. Dealing with branch queries and chasing suppliers. Agreeing and communicating seasonal delivery schedules. Updating branch list to include all openings and closures and advising suppliers accordingly. All price file administration through Caterwide system. General Team and Administration duties e.g. meetings and greeting visitors, typing etcThey are looking for a team player, passionate about delivering the best administrative support to a Purchasing teamfocused on achieving the best prices, food quality, and service.For this role you will need the following experience, skills and personal qualities: Excellent organisational skills Highly PC literate (especially Microsoft Office packages word and excel) Tenacious; able to work under pressure Good communication skills, especially over the telephone A good time-keeper, able to deliver to tight deadlines Personable |
