Our client is a private start up company within the technology sector which has recently developed a highly innovativeinternet based product which addresses the needs of a niche market in the UK. With the first release of this product atpilot stage, the business is now at the beginning of an exciting phase of growth. As a result, we are currentlyundertaking an executive search on their behalf to find a Finance Director to join their small and highly experiencedsenior management team.Based in Taunton with a target client base throughout the UK, you will work closely with the Chief Executive to lead thebusiness through its current delivery and market development stage.Leadership, communication and people management skills are imperative both inside and outside of the business. As well asmanaging the day to day finance function, you will play a key part in the business development strategy and this willinvolve presenting at the highest level and liaising frequently with highly qualified potential customers.Suitable candidates will be ACA qualified with Board level experience gained within a high growth company or businessstart up. Enthusiastic, professional and self-motivated, you will have the commercial acumen needed to drive the businessforwards in return for a share in its success.An opportunity for personal investment and an equity share exists for ambitious individuals, as does the chance forprogression into a CEO role in the future.
