Description:

Our client seeks a Filter Engineer to work within a small team of engineers and technicians to continuously improve product design and provide timely solutions to issues encountered in engineering. You will also be Technical Authority within the Filters Department. You will understand the design of RF / Microwave filters and combiners and have solid understanding of RF / Microwave theory. With an honours degree or an HND in Electronic Engineering and 3 years industrial experience, you are customer focused and able to communicate at all levels. ROLE: RF / Microwave Filter design expertise/development support. Prepare/maintain logbooks/data packs for every order. Support integration of passive components into sub-system prototypes and products. Technical support at client meetings. Technical support and data to Drawing Office, Machine Shop, Production, Purchasing and Mechanical Departments to aid in the design and procurement of suitable parts. Develop programme/project management skills. Supervise/train technicians. Liase with QA Department to ensure quality, reliability/safety of all products developed and/or produced is adequate and in accordance with the Companys Quality and Health and Safety Procedures.
