To provide off site service to all SatelliteCommunications Ground and mobile activities, with specialemphasis on software based GEMS, TEMA, LEMA and BEMAequipment control software systems associated with thelatest Skynet 5.This will be toprovide off site Field Engineering support to all Satellitecommunications terminals at ground stations, Tacticals andonboard RN ships.Site installation work, system fault finding, system testing,baseband to RF and mechanical work are the main areas ofwork within the TLS Engineering group. The successfulcandidate is required to travel at short notice to anylocation within UK/EUQualifications and/or SkillsEssential:HNC in Software techniques or equivalent.Subject. Electronic/mechanical control.Desirable: Degree in Software.Subject. Electronic/mechanical control systems.Previous ExperienceEssential:Primary skill should cover software electronic andmechanical control systems.Desirable: Company product knowledge. EgGEMS/TEMA/LEMA &BEMA control system.MUST BE A BRITISH CITIZEN.
