Field Service Engineer (Power Electronics) - London & South EastSalary: 22k to 27k basic, to 40k inc o/tOur client provides total turnkey solutions and a wealth of experience within the power industry. From UPS System Design,manufacture, delivery and installation to commissioning and equipment maintenance, they ensure successful projectcompletion.They are looking for an experienced UPS Service Engineer to join their ambitious team. This position will cover Londonand Home CountiesThe Role- To commission and test UPS systems and bring into operation battery systems.- To test all functions and alarms of the UPS system- To prepare and present UPS commissioning reports and documentation- To handover the commissioned UPS to the customer- To maintain the UPS equipment in a clean and serviceable condition- To be prepared to work with other systems and products as directed.The Requirements- You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer from within the Electronic Power Generation sector- This experience will ideally come from within the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) sector, but candidates withintransferable areas such as high power control circuits, rectifiers, inverters etc are still very much of interest.- You will be an excellent communicator an able to work to strict deadlines- Excellent customer service skills required.- Related electronics engineering qualification is desirable.
