: As Facilities Manager you will manage the group real estate portfolio including any building construction and refurbishment requirements and landlord related activities to ensure value is optimised and use of resources is minimised. You will develop, specify and implement property related facility strategies and operational business specifications that support the corporate plan and will manage operational relationships with property facilities related suppliers on a day-to-day basis and resolve any operational issues that occur. You will operate within the companys procurement and contact management protocols. You will be a member of the BIFM to ensure compliance with relevant legislation including health and safety. You will have at least 5 years experience of proactively managing a real estate portfolio, property maintenance & facilities requirements. You will also be extremely commercially aware plus have good business sense and budget management skills. Knowledge of health and safety is a distinct advantage as is experience of managing subcontractor.
