Description:

Role Context: Supporting internal functions within Rightmove to ensure smooth running of day-day activities. Responsible for assisting in health and safety issues. Liaison with external suppliers. Providing first-line user support on facilities related issues. Project coordination of office moves as and when necessary. Facilities is a growth area in a dynamic and expanding company and this role offers massive developmental potential tothe successful candidate.Key Responsibilities: Facilities Responsible for assisting with workplace health & Safety. Undertaking health & Safety checks in both Milton Keynes and London offices, and any other sites as added. Ensuring new starters understand Health and Safety issues and are aware of all relevant information, including firesafety. First aid. Central point of contact for anything relating to company cars. Administering contracts with external suppliers, including cleaners, telephones, water coolers, stationary etc. Administering maintenance contracts for photocopiers, fax machines, printers etc. Central point of contact for anything malfunctioning within both offices and responsible for coordinating resolutionsor contacting relevant personnel/supplier. Setting up new starters; handling any problems. Updating phone list. Handling insurance, liaising with suppliers and monitoring. Ordering any additional/replacement furniture required. Coordination of any relocation of staff around the office, i.e. moving of desks, and ensuring phones and IT are allfunctional. Assisting in project management of whole office moves, including involvement in sourcing new offices and liaison withsuppliers ensuring a successful end result.Key Resposibilities: IT Support First-line user support on IT hardware issues predominately in Milton Keynes office (eg. Printer faults). Inventory management of printer consumables PC and phone moves including repatching. Printer support and maintenance. Switchboard reprogramming as neededPerson Specification: Graduate preferable. Good well rounded education. Common sense and ability to think outside the box. Problem solver, ability to take ownership & resolve issues. Team player, committed and passionate working to overall company results. Strong communication, clear with confidence. Works well under pressure. Gets satisfaction from helping, will go the extra mile. Honest and genuine. Flexible attitude. Open minded, will take on board new ideas. Quick learner Good PC skills (MS Office suit)Possible Experience: Recent graduate with an interest in facilities managementand some experience within a facilities role. Fresh graduate would be considered if had a placement year and studied a facilities course at University.
