Description:

Our client is a specialist construction contractor whose work is mainly soft civils and general builders works, working within the rail sector. We are currently recruiting an experienced Estimator, who is enthusiastic and has the desire to progress, to join their Sales & Estimating department.Ideally you will have a sound background in the commercial aspects of the industry and a good knowledge of estimating and tendering, in order to price tender packages from GBP 10,000 to GBP 2m within stipulated timescales. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with the relevant IT packages will be required. Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be required to liaise with clients as appropriate in tender preparation and to formulate strategies for pricing.
