Description:

Responsibilities of the role will include building and testing liquid abatement pilot systems, drawing and following theinstructions of the Equipment Manager, Pilot and Subcontract Engineer. Supporting the installation and commission ofliquid abatement systems whilst ensuring that on-site equipment and systems meet the companys standards andspecifications. You will ensure that effective communication is maintained between clients, participate in meetings andoffer feedback and operational requirements to the Equipment Manager, Pilot and Subcontract Engineer.You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment meets the appropriate safety standards and keeping up to datewith the proper operation and preventative maintenance on all liquid abatement equipment and systems. You will undertakeinspection, testing, performance checks and diagnosis of faults whilst in conjunction with colleagues ensuring that theequipment and systems on site are optimised to meet the clients needs.The ideal candidate for the role will come from a mechanical, fluids or electrical engineering background and a minimumof three years experience in an engineering environment along with a full and clean drivers license.The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package including a pension and bonus scheme.W5 Recruitment is a specialist recruitment consultancy that was established to provide recruitment expertise within theenvironmental sector.
