: 15/110Our client is one of the world's leading systems management software companies with customers such as the Ministry of Defence, Royal Bank of Scotland, Nokia and IBM. Primary product lines include monitoring and alerting, data consolidation, batch job scheduling, and web site analysis solutions. The main software product is Enterprise Monitoring software for I.T infrastructure, ie, Servers, Hubs, Switches, Routers and applications (Exchange, Active directory) etc... We are currently looking for an engineer / consultant who will go from site to site across the UK and Europe where a high level of client facing communication skills will be needed in order to represent the company professionally whist performing software presentations and implementations, providing pre-sales support, product training to end users, as well as providing support to the sales team and existing customers. The role will also provide a big career stepping stone for anyone eventually looking to work for one of the world's "big four" IT companies. All travel is expensed and includes an additional 100 dollar per night travelling bonus. The role can be very varied and requires a good "all-rounder". You will have a good level of technical knowledge within Windows 2000, XP, (Unix would be a plus), Exchange, SQL, Oracle, a big plus would be knowledge of SNMP Experience with 'Perfmon' and the various other methods of checking server and application performance is very relevant.
