You should also understand the internal operation of a major RTOS, perhaps having addedfeatures such as memory management or a task scheduler etc. An appreciation of hardware (development/integration) and theability to work with minimal supervision is essential.Desirable skills include: knowledge of device driver development, DSP, network driver development and/or C++.
