Embedded C Protocol Development (VoIP) RJ-0160GBP 30,000 to GBP 45,000 + Benefits SurreyThis company has recently been through an MBO and has a well defined product portfolio developed over the last 10 yearsand is now set to expand and penetrated new market sectors. They develop and manufacture innovative telecommunicationssolutions to provide VoIP, VoDSL and VoIP ISDN capability which provides voice and data access over ADSL, DSL, Broadband,Ethernet and legacy networks, providing services for commercial and residential requirements. This has led to therequirement for another embedded C software engineer to work on protocol development (close to the hardware) for a newrange of VoIP products. You will be degree qualified with around 1-2 (or more) years experience of developing embeddedsoftware in C, specifically for DSL, ADSL, or Broadband products using Global-Span, Virata or Conexant RTOS. In additionany experience of VoIP or ISDN would be extremely beneficial. You will be using next-generation technology working on anintegrated SIP gateway providing VoIP functionality, which will be the core architecture for all future productsdelivered into their end customers who are the telecommunications service providers and ISPs globally.
