Our client is an independent public body who conducts in-depth inquiries into mergers, markets and the regulation of themajor regulated industries. The organization is unique in terms of the type of work undertaken. Due to an increase inworkload a new position has been created. Reporting to the Chief Accounting advisor key responsibilities include:Supporting and assisting in the management and leadership of the financial analysis group which is made up of ten highlyintelligent qualified accountants, ensuring the financial analysis carried out by the team is consistently of a highstandard, providing timely and sound financial accounting advice arising from on inquiries across the organization plusother ad hoc high level projects. The position will suit a graduate qualified accountant with over seven years postqualification gained from practice or a senior accounting role in industry or banking. Experience of developing andmentoring teams of accountants, project management, analysis and review of financial data is required. Strong influencingskills, presentation, ability to pick up things quickly ,delivery focused are absolutely key to success.
