Digital Design Engineer - 28k to 40k basic + benefitsLocation: OxfordshireOur client is a well funded, hi-tech start-up company developing a range of imaging technologies.Due to their continued expansion they are looking for ambitious and motivated, highly qualified individual to fill thevacant position of Digital Design Engineer.THE ROLEKey focus for the Digital Design Engineer will be to develop and maintain multi-channel analogue to digital acquisitionsystems.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS- The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant technical discipline- You will have a solid design experience with VHDL synthesis using large Altera devices as well as solid experience ofthe total development process from initial concept to complete boards going into small scale production.- The successful candidate will also have good knowledge of small embedded systems typically used in digital acquisitionsystems as well as physical interfaces such as USB client and server, EtherNet, RS 232.- You will also possess a keen interest in DSP together with strong general technical and problem solving skills.Desirable SkillsKnowledge and interest of MFC, COM, Embedded systems design (CE, XP embedded, Linux using web server/thin client) will bevaluable.
