Description:

Our Client require Device Driver Software Engineers to join their team to work on vrious different platforms. You will beworking on the development of Device Drivers for one of the following platforms:Windows Kernel DeveloperWe have a number of openings to help with the development of the kernel components of our Windows product line. This willinvolve working with other members of the team to design, implement, debug and test components for TCP/IP and iSCSIproduct lines. The work will involve hardware edge, operating system and network protocol design and implementation, andcustomer facing activities including customization projects.RequirementsPhD, first class or 2:1 from well ranked university. Ability to learn quickly, proficiency in C programming, proclivityfor shipping robust quality software to schedule. A thorough understanding of operating system concepts, familiarity withthe Windows kernel, experience of developing Windows device driver development (WDM/NDIS), system software,hardware/software co-design all using performance optimized designs. Detailed knowledge of PCI-X, PCIe, Ethernet andTCP/IP strongly desired. 5+ year's commercial experience of the complete software life cycle for senior positions.NetWare 6.5 network driver developer - Development of network drivers for NetWare 6.5 - experience of Novell CHSM ODIv1.11 certification desirableAIX network driver developer - Development of network drivers for AIX v5.2 and v5.3Linux device driver development - Development of network drivers for Linux.
