: A first class opportunity for you to join this growing Scottish company which has an excellent reputation for the speed of their design and the quality of their manufacturing. They are currently seeking a Design Office Manager to be responsible for ensuring that all design office work is correctly planned, scheduled, controlled, executed, reported and delivered in a cost effective and professional manner, to ensure all work load is visible and to develop, implement and control department systems and procedures. In particular ensuring that the goals and objectives set by the Technical Director are achieved. You must have come from a manufacturing background, with a relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering. You should have achieved the position of Senior Engineer with at least 5 years proven track record as an Engineering Manager leading a Team of Mechanical Design Engineers. You will have comprehensive 3D CAD design experience and will have undertaken all aspects of the mechanical design process from concept through to the compilation of BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and product testing and release. Experience gained from within the Oil & Gas industry would be a distinct advantage.
