Our client is part of one of the UKs largest building and civil engineering contractors. The company has been active inPFI for over seven years and is now seeking to expand the team bidding for health and education projects and is thereforeseeking an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in PFI projectsThe ideal candidate will lead the design team and be responsible for the appointment of all design consultants involvedin the PFI process. They will liaise with the bid manager, and be directly responsible to the bid director and integratewithin the bid team.Candidates should be self motivated and be able to demonstrate a confident commercial approach to the whole PFI processand capable of meeting challenging deadlines.Salary is likely to be in the range of GBP 50,000 - GBP 60,000 + a good benefits package, company car and a contributorypension.
