Main Duties & Responsibilities:The design, assembly, prototyping and testing of new components, functions, systems for incorporation into AML's MNTequipment portfolio.Work will involve hands-on development as well as design functions and covers the design, implementation and testing ofnew machines and components of machines to expand AML equipment product portfolioPerson specification:Essential: Science or Engineering degree (2.1 or better) preferably Mechanical EngineeringEssential: Experience in equipment design particularly with vacuum based equipment, semiconductor or other clean roombased processing equipment,Essential: Skilled in the use of Autocad (or similar) 2D & 3D and in FE modellingEssential: Flexible will need to get involved with implementation and testing in addition to design.Essential: Flexible, team playerAlso preferably designing to comply with European Directives on EMC and safety, eg EN61010 or equivalent. Experience withpressurised equipment useful but not essentialPreferable: Experience in Electrical & Optical functions in machines. Specifically with visible and IR imaging systems.Preferable: Materials knowledge
