Reporting into the Head of Finance, responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure a robust controls framework and high quality management and statutory financial information. Supporting M&A activity and providing project appraisals and evaluation. Writing and presenting reports for the Group Board. Driving technical accounts development across the company, liaising with advisors and ensuring accurate results and augmenting a smooth audit process. Leading projects to ensure statutory obligations and City requirements are adhered to. A graduate qualified accountant with 5-6 years PQE, you will have excellent academics, big 4 training and a proven track record of advising to or within a Plc head office. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate wide ranging technical and business advice to senior management and the energy and drive to develop first class finance within a fast growing and new Plc.With revenues in excess of $1.2bn and profits of more than $440m, our client is the tenth largest copper miner in the world.
