Integrating the functions within their area of responsibility to provide cost effective and efficient operational andfacility management. Ensuring that there is appropriate capability available to deliver the required programmes to time, quality and cost. Developing a resource profile which identifies requirements for ensuring legal compliance for water utility management,operations, and maintenance and communicating this to all concerned parties. Monitoring and reporting overall management, operational, engineering and maintenance performance against the plantprogramme and budget.QualificationsTo have achieved an HNC, or equivalent, in Engineering discipline (Degree level preferred).KnowledgeUndertaking operational, engineering, maintenance and facility management activities on a regulated site.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years relevant experience.SkillsGood interpersonal and communication skills.The ability to lead, manage and motivate staff.Good oral, written and presentational skillsTeam-working and leadershipProblem solving and decision makingSpecial Requirements To be fit and able to work on a nuclear licensed site.Key accountabilities Assuring the delivery of compliant performance in accordance with Company policy and arrangements, within all areas ofresponsibility. Assisting the Technical Authority to ensure the all Regulatory and Legalistive requirements pertaining to the SiteElectrical Distribution Network are correctly discharged. Assisting the Technical Authority to define, resource and manage a clear organisational structure with the allocationof appropriate accountabilities and responsibilities to deliver agreed operational compliance targets. Assisting the Technical Authority to ensure that the Facilities achieve operational outputs to an agreed programme andthat all work is performed within the safe working envelope as defined within the safety case. Working with others across the Company in leading and promoting a positive culture that enables continual improvementand implementation of best practice including all aspects of SQESH. |
