Description:

Key responsibilities:- Demand analysis through the use & maintenance of existing models for short-term forecasting of profiled supplies aswell as the ongoing improvement & development of these models- Analysis of large sets of date identifying trends- Investigation & implementation of new forecasting techniques- Provide reports / data to internal / external business groups- Monitoring cleanliness of data feeds to models- Production of scenario based, long term forecasts to support commercial, strategic & financial decision makingprocessesQuantitative skills & experience of statistics modelling is essential, as is the ability to manage data using Excel /Access or Visual Basic. The capacity to manipulate, analyse & present results in a concise format is also key. Knowledgeof forecasting, trade registering, industry data flows & hedge optimisation would be desirable
