Key Objectives:Data Centre Engineers will be required to work within the Data Centre on UMTS Core and RNC network equipment in both aroutine maintenance and fault rectification role.Ensure all faults are fixed within agreed SLA.Perform scheduled Routine Maintenance Tasks.Complete and maintain all associated records.Responsibilities:Assist with the integration of new network elements.Assist with network reconfiguration activities.Complete and/or support Operational Change Requests.Ensure all faulty network spares are returned in a timely manner in line with Vendor processes.Operational Experience:5 years' operational experience in a similar role for a telecommunications operator.Excellent understanding of mobile architecture.Excellent understanding of Data Communications and IP Networks.Knowledge of Health and Safety issues within Switch/Datacentre environment of a telecommunications environment.Personal Characteristics:Ability to plan, schedule and prioritise work load so the tasks are completed on time.Must be a team player and must be naturally supportive of the whole team.Must be proactive and have a willingness to share knowledge.Emits a confident approach, and stay's positive under pressure.Academic Background:ONC/BTec level 3 or equivalent.Company Overview:As an organisation, 3 are growing at a truly phenomenal rate.
