Description:

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVEResponsible for customer service inside the store, as well as prospect sales & marketing.Duties: - Serve as the first point of contact for walk-in and telephone customers - Respond to customer inquiries, using The 10 General Orders of Customer Selling to determine sign needs, provide sign recommendations and quotes, and assist customers with the order process. - Process customer orders. - Complete work orders accurately, obtain customers approval or order and payment. - Enter customer contact information for follow up - Perform quality assurance measures pre-and post-construction by creating, ready and communicating work order details and proofing sing for errors or unacceptable standards such as bubbles, ragged edges, and loose seams. - Contact customers when the order is ready, as well as when delays and errors occur or when payment is late, to ensure that they are satisfied after the job has been picked up/delivered and assuring customer is satisfied with their purchase. - Contact the customer within 3-5 days of order to confirm customer satisfaction and if dissatisfied, determine their concern and present solutions. - Obtain referrals, determine contact name and phone number and provide follow-up - Execute a variety of marketing functions, in-store database mailings based on targeted POS lists, thank you cards 5-7 days after order is picked up - Prospect for new customers via phone and generate prospect list, implementing a call-mail-call program, distributing press releases regarding store activities, executing FASTMAIL campaigns. - Maintain an attractive retail environment (clean, organised and functional) - Support store manager as needed with reports, close-out, invoices, and daily, weekly and monthly paperwork.Education/Experience: Any combination of education, training or general experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge base sufficient for job performance.This could include:Needs to have an easy going, adaptable personality, a positive get it done attitude, quality conscious, flexibility to occasionally work overtime, calm professional who is diplomatic and presents self well.
