South East England based Sales role selling Corporate Travel Sales / Business Travel Sales. Corporate Sales Manager, New Business, Corporate Travel / Business Travel, South East, 30-40k basic, Uncapped OTE, Field Sales, Account Development, Team Environment. My client is now one of the market leaders in the Business Travel / Corporate Travel Space selling these services to corporate clients internationally. This company was established to provide a streamlined and cost effective service to an increasingly important business sector - the small to medium size business market (SMEs). My client prides themselves on the fact that they listen to all their customers and have continued to research the SME market so that NEW services can be introduced on a regular basis. As such, their new Travel Portal is the latest development that will allow their customers to manage their travel planning even more easily and conveniently. Recently my client had decided to move the focus purely from Marketing to a stronger drive on sales and as such they are now seeking to recruit a 100% new business hunter to drive the business forward selling their range if business travel services to the SME to Corporate Blue Chip clients. As a Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with the generation and conversion of leads in to concrete sales selling Business Travel / Corporate Travel services to the SME to Corporate Blue Chip clients. Your Daily KPI's will revolve around you growing the number of quality opportunities for future business. In line with this your day to day duties will involve you establishing and managing effective working relationships, developing and managing relationships with key accounts as well as managing and maintaining effective information flows between the customer and the relevant internal departments. This is a new business role with a strong focus on Autonomy. You will therefore own the sales process from identifying opportunities through to sales closure. You will report to the Sales Director on a monthly basis discussing your current new business activity as well as forecasts for future business opportunities. The perfect candidate for this role (ideally located in the South East or prepared to relocate) will have 1-2 years sales experience selling Corporate Travel / Business Travel to the SME to Corporate Market. You must be a clear communicator and target driven with the sales drive to see a long cycle sale through from start to finish. |
