Our client, a top five Chartered Accountancy, currently has an opportunity for a Corporate Finance Executive to join their Thames Valley office, one of the largest UK offices with the critical mass to offer and deliver an extensive range of core and specialist services. The Corporate Finance department advises on all financial aspects of fund raising, disposals and acquisitions whereby most transactions are in the range 1m to 10m. In a general sense, an Executive must be able to assist the Manager in the handling of all but the largest transactions; must interface with client management, financiers and other professionals. The successful candidate will be assisting the Manager in the management of a portfolio of assignments, conduct company, market and sector research to support transactions, be responsible (with the Partner and Manager) for the smooth running of the Corporate Finance Unit and prepare selling documents for presentation to financiers in support of corporate finance assignments. As you can see this is a challenging, diverse and exciting role.ACA Qualified, knowledge of financial reporting and tax matters, excellent command of the English language, computer literate, presentation skills.You will be a highly professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills who has proven experience of developing, through the use of relevant courses and on the job experience of financial structuring and sources of different types of finance. Ideally you will be coming from a role in which you have been a self-starter and had to initiate/win new business as this role requires this calibre of person in particularly busy periods.
